Description
A traditional Kurdish East Anatolian rug displays intricate geometric patterning in rich reds, deep blues, creams, and burnt oranges arranged in repeating motifs across three distinct horizontal bands. The central field features stacked diamond and cross forms in cream and pale tones against a saturated red ground, framed by ornamental borders of smaller geometric medallions executed in warm terracotta and contrasting dark tones. Precision-cut from thick, satin-finish paperboard and made to order, in 500 or 1,000 pieces. An afternoon spent building an independent artist's work.
