Description
A Komodo dragon stretches languidly across the composition, rendered in precise stippled dotwork that creates soft gradations of light and shadow across its muscular body. The creature's scales and sinews emerge from the dotted technique with anatomical clarity, while the minimalist white background emphasizes the intricate tonal work and the reptile's relaxed, grounded pose. At home in a naturalist's study or beside a collection of scientific illustration. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily. The natural grain shows through the artwork, so no two come out exactly alike.
