Description
Magenta and cream toile de Jouy depicts a whimsical forest scene populated with tall evergreen trees, hiking figures, and sasquatches rendered in the classical engraving style of 18th-century French textile patterns. The composition repeats these woodland elements across the entire field in a rich magenta hue against a warm cream ground, creating an ornamental narrative that playfully subverts traditional toile iconography by introducing cryptid folklore into a stately historical pattern. For a room that celebrates quirky folklore or embraces bold, unconventional decorating. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily. The natural grain shows through the artwork, so no two come out exactly alike.
