Care

Regular Cleaning: Wipe clean with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust and light spills. For tougher stains, use a mild soap solution and gently blot the area. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners that may damage the vegan leather.

Vegan Leather Care: To maintain the appearance of the vegan leather, apply a leather conditioner specifically designed for faux leather every 3-6 months. Avoid placing stools in direct sunlight to prevent fading and cracking of the vegan leather.

Steel Frame Maintenance: Dust the steel frame regularly with a dry cloth. For stubborn marks, use a slightly damp cloth with a mild detergent, then dry thoroughly. To prevent rust, avoid exposing the steel frame to excessive moisture.

Preventive Care: Use felt pads under the stool legs to protect your floors and reduce noise. Avoid dragging the stools across the floor to prevent damage to both the stools and your flooring.

Some of her other awards include "Artist of the Year from the San Pedro Art Association, "Mayor's Choice Award", and a "First Place" award from Santa Barbara National Juried Arts Invitational Exhibition which was selected from over 1,500 entries. She is a member of the American Watercolor Society, National Watercolor Society, and is a signature member and 1997-98 President of the Nevada Watercolor Society. Recently in 2014 she signed two major contracts with the prestigious publishing companies Wendover Art Group to have 48 original paintings reproduced and Artist Lane to be promoted worldwide. Kathy's work is collected and included in corporate and private collections around the world. I feel my work is an on-going creative adventure. I am always experimenting and exploring new ways to develop my art. But more then just create pretty pictures, I really try to put a piece of my soul into each piece. I want the viewer to be drawn into it and to take a creative visual journey. Often I will hide secret messages and/or symbols intending to leave a positive thought in the viewer's subconscious. I believe we all can always use a little more positiveness in our world and if for a brief second I can accomplish that, then I have succeeded with the work of art.
