Description
A lone pirate sits hunched on a desolate shoreline, rendered in warm ochres and burnt siennas against a golden sky. The figure's isolation and posture convey abandonment and despair, created with painterly brushwork that blends earth tones into a horizon where land and sky merge seamlessly. At home in a study celebrating maritime history or literary adventure. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily. The natural grain shows through the artwork, so no two come out exactly alike.
