A classical marble bust of Medusa with writhing snakes crowning her head blows a large lavender bubblegum bubble against a stark black background. The high-contrast black and white rendering of the sculpture is punctuated by the single pop of purple in the bubble, creating a playful subversion of the mythological figure. In a gallery wall, a creative workspace, or anywhere bold contemporary wit is appreciated. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily. The natural grain shows through the artwork, so no two come out exactly alike.
