Description

A stylized portrait of a young woman with striped hair and a halo floats against a soft pink ground, rendered entirely in bold magenta line work. Scattered stars accent the composition, while her simplified facial features and ruffled collar create a whimsical, almost angelic quality with a retro illustrative sensibility. Printed to order in our Denver facility on a cushioned, lightweight mat that rolls up and travels with you. Real art under your feet through every practice, not a generic store-shelf print.

About The Artist

instagram: chromoeye (tag me!!) Hi, my name is Lauren! A little about me: I'm from the sweet, sweet state of Louisiana, I recreated Starry Night at age 5 in crayon and my parents haven't let me forget it since, and I'm obsessed with everything 60s, eclectic, and nostalgic. However, despite this obsession with the styles of a bygone era, I like to hold tight to the simple, boldly expressive, and vibrant aspects of the present. I adore art that successfully blends the world of the past with the new possibilities of the present. In short, my work is inspired by life in its simplest form: Bright and dark colors for the good times and bad, an underlying simplicity, and an affection for the past with an eye on the future. I try to invest these little aspects of life that I love dearly into the hearts of my pieces. My one hope is that you see and enjoy these aspects as much as I do, too.
