Vertical stripes in warm oranges, deep greens, taupes, and blacks create a rhythmic pattern interrupted by a geometric checkerboard band running horizontally across the center in black and white with touches of green. The composition balances organic color variation within each stripe against the precise, mathematical interruption of the checkerboard, creating tension between order and flow. Precision-cut from thick, satin-finish paperboard and made to order, in 500 or 1,000 pieces. An afternoon spent building an independent artist's work.
