Five lunar phases are arranged vertically in grayscale, progressing from a thin crescent through waxing and full moon to waning crescent, rendered in soft watercolor with delicate gradations of black and gray. The composition is centered and meditative, with each celestial body slightly varied in detail and tone against a clean white ground. At home in a bedroom, meditation space, or astronomy enthusiast's study. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily. The natural grain shows through the artwork, so no two come out exactly alike.
