A dense evergreen forest rises through layers of mist, its dark silhouettes of tall pines emerging from fog that softens the upper third of the composition. The moody palette shifts from charcoal and deep forest green below to pale gray and white above, creating an atmospheric gradient that emphasizes the dreamlike, obscured quality of the landscape. My images are taken on my various travels to mostly remote regions of the planet. This gallery features works from Iceland, Greenland, Norway but also from my home country Germany and the Alps, especially the Italian Dolomites Mountains. I also like surrealist and abstract images that are not always photography. So you can expect to see flowing patterns and fluid forms on this page as well.
