Description
A human skull emerges from a dense tangle of wildflowers, botanical forms, and delicate line work rendered entirely in black ink against a white ground. The composition balances memento mori symbolism with organic growth, as flowers and flowering plants seem to bloom from and obscure the skeletal form in an intricate, layered drawing style. Precision-cut from thick, satin-finish paperboard and made to order, in 500 or 1,000 pieces. An afternoon spent building an independent artist's work.
