Description
A human skull emerges from a dense tangle of wildflowers, botanical forms, and delicate line work rendered entirely in black ink against a white ground. The composition balances memento mori symbolism with organic growth, as flowers and flowering plants seem to bloom from and obscure the skeletal form in an intricate, layered drawing style. At home in a gallery space, a creative studio, or a contemplative personal sanctuary. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily. The natural grain shows through the artwork, so no two come out exactly alike.
