Description
A mythical blue dragon with scaled body and fierce expression dominates the center of this composition, rendered in deep indigo against a warm rust-orange ground scattered with golden cloud motifs. The dragon's sinuous form coils across the space in a traditional Chinese textile pattern, its geometric patterning and symmetrical placement suggesting the ornamental splendor of an antique imperial rug or architectural embellishment. At home in an eclectic living room or a space celebrating Asian art and heritage. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily. The natural grain shows through the artwork, so no two come out exactly alike.
