Description
A cream-colored organic form with undulating, finger-like projections spreads across a solid black ground, evoking both a leaf and an abstract hand. The composition recalls Henri Matisse's cutout technique, with its bold color contrast and biomorphic silhouette rendered in a restrained mid-century modern vocabulary. At home in a modern living room or minimalist gallery wall. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily. The natural grain shows through the artwork, so no two come out exactly alike.
