A misty river winds through a dense coniferous forest, its calm surface reflecting the towering evergreens that frame both sides of the composition. Shot in black and white, the photograph captures layers of depth as fog settles between the distant peaks, creating a moody, contemplative atmosphere where water and wilderness merge into soft gradations of gray.
