Description
A pileated woodpecker clings to a weathered tree trunk with wings spread wide, revealing the striking contrast of white and black feathers edged in soft gray. The bird's distinctive red crest crowns its head while its body remains dark, rendered in precise, naturalistic detail against a pale background. At home in a naturalist's study or woodland-inspired living space. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily. The natural grain shows through the artwork, so no two come out exactly alike.
