Description
A deep purple plum with golden-bronze leaves sits beside a delicate cascading vine bearing small blue-purple flowers, rendered in the meticulous hand-colored botanical illustration style of 19th-century naturalism. The warm cream ground allows each element to breathe, from the plum's luminous sheen to the fine linear detail of the flowering branches, creating a study in both abundance and restraint. At home in a botanical study, a naturalist's library, or a cabinet of curiosities. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily. The natural grain shows through the artwork, so no two come out exactly alike.
