Vertical stripes in red, orange, yellow, blue, green, and black undulate across the composition in a rhythmic pattern inspired by traditional Persian weaving. The wavy lines create movement and depth, evoking the handwoven texture of an antique Qashqa'i kilim from Iran's Fars region. Crafted from bamboo and made to order, with a drilled hole so it hangs on the wall as easily as it works on the counter. A kitchen essential carrying an independent artist's work, not a blank block from the big-box aisle.
