A collection of vinyl records stands spine-out in tight formation, their varied covers displaying stripes of cream, black, orange, red, blue, and gold that create a rhythmic visual pattern. The worn edges and slight warping of the spines convey the tactile history of analog music, while the composition captures both the graphic artwork language of record covers and the nostalgic materiality of physical media. Precision-cut from thick, satin-finish paperboard and made to order, in 500 or 1,000 pieces. An afternoon spent building an independent artist's work.
