Description
A traditional Romanian carpet unfolds in deep jewel tones, its symmetrical field of burgundy and navy populated with intricate floral motifs, geometric borders, and ornamental vines rendered in cream, gold, rust, and turquoise. The composition radiates from the center outward through nested rectangular frames, each layer densely patterned with the precision and richness characteristic of Balkan textile traditions. At home in a library, study, or eclectic living room where heritage and pattern reign. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily. The natural grain shows through the artwork, so no two come out exactly alike.
