Description
A pair of roseate spoonbills with vivid pink plumage and distinctive spoon-shaped beaks forage along a marshy shoreline, their reflections suggested in the shallow water below. The composition balances delicate naturalistic detail with a serene landscape of wetlands and sky, rendered in soft watercolor tones that emphasize the birds' striking coral and white coloring against muted greens and blues. In a naturalist's study, a bird lover's sanctuary, or alongside other Audubon prints. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily. The natural grain shows through the artwork, so no two come out exactly alike.
