Description
A gnarled sagebrush plant rises from sandy ground against a deep charcoal background, its feathery green foliage rendered with delicate brushwork and pale mineral-like branching. Surrounding the central plant are botanical study elements: golden seed clusters, scattered leaves, and a vertical spray of yellow flowers, all arranged in the careful manner of a naturalist's field illustration. Precision-cut from thick, satin-finish paperboard and made to order, in 500 or 1,000 pieces. An afternoon spent building an independent artist's work.
