A traditional Persian rug displays an intricate central medallion in cream and gold, surrounded by elaborately patterned borders in deep navy, burnt red, and warm ochre tones. Floral motifs, geometric artworks, and ornamental details fill every inch of the composition with the dense, symmetrical complexity characteristic of classical weaving from Iran's Arak region. Precision-cut from thick, satin-finish paperboard and made to order, in 500 or 1,000 pieces. An afternoon spent building an independent artist's work.
