A traditional Persian rug displays an ornate rust-red medallion centered on a cream ground, surrounded by intricate floral and vine motifs in deep blues, terracottas, and forest greens. The composition features a symmetrical border of geometric and botanical patterns that frame the central artwork with the formal precision and rich layered detail characteristic of classic West Persian weaving.
