Description
Vertical streaks of gold and cream scratch across a deep burgundy ground, creating the impression of light filtering through worn, weathered surfaces. The composition evokes aged metal or distressed fabric, with gestural marks suggesting decay, passage of time, and the beauty found in imperfection. In a modern gallery space or a contemplative study lined with earth-toned furnishings. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily. The natural grain shows through the artwork, so no two come out exactly alike.
