Description
Vertical bands of deep maroon and charcoal brown are interrupted by luminous pale blue-green strokes that cut horizontally across the composition, creating a sense of disruption and weathered texture. The piece has the grainy, deteriorated quality of an old photograph or worn metal surface, with scratches and marks suggesting time, damage, and layered history. In a modern gallery space or a contemplative study where abstraction speaks to quiet introspection. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily. The natural grain shows through the artwork, so no two come out exactly alike.
