About The Artist

Trained at the University of Washington School of Fine Art in Seattle, Jennifer received her BFA in Painting in 1992 and teaching certifications from Western Washington University in Bellingham in 1995. After following opportunities in the business and technology industries, she finally returned to art-making full time in 2006, embracing a new career which she still enjoys today. An established acrylic painter, always inspired by nature, Jennifer pushes the boundaries of her latest work. Moving to more natural materials with oil paints and handspun fibers and a variety of printmaking techniques and collaged papers, Jennifer works to enhance the patterns, colors, and textures of her work while also exploring the emotional and story elements of her art journey. Her award-winning work is well-loved and collected worldwide as well as locally in the Northwest, where she spends most of her time. Jennifer currently resides in beautiful Corvallis, Oregon.
