A richly patterned Persian carpet dominates this composition, rendered in deep rust red with intricate geometric and floral motifs framing a central medallion in burnished gold and cream. The ornate artwork features symmetrical borders of delicate florals and arabesque scrollwork, creating layers of detailed ornamentation that speak to centuries of textile craftsmanship. At home in a traditional living room or study lined with antique furnishings. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily. The natural grain shows through the artwork, so no two come out exactly alike.
