A traditional Persian rug unfolds in rich terracotta and cream, its composition anchored by a diamond-shaped medallion in the center surrounded by intricate geometric and floral motifs. The warm rust-red field is layered with ornamental borders and corner details in deep blues and cream, rendered with the characteristic density and balanced symmetry of classical carpet artwork. Precision-cut from thick, satin-finish paperboard and made to order, in 500 or 1,000 pieces. An afternoon spent building an independent artist's work.
