Description
A golden ground densely filled with horizontal rows of tiny repeated figures creates a rhythmic, almost textile-like pattern, anchored by bands of ornamental borders in deep reds, blues, and earth tones at top and bottom. The composition echoes traditional flatwoven textiles from the Caucasus, where geometric motifs and stylized animals form a structured, ceremonial aesthetic with warm ochre tones dominating the center field. At home in a space celebrating global textiles or ethnographic collections. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily. The natural grain shows through the artwork, so no two come out exactly alike.
