Description

Two businesspeople in dark suits hold and stretch a large terracotta geometric shape between them, their bodies leaning against the weight and resistance of the form. The composition is centered against a soft cream background, rendered in a minimalist illustrative style that emphasizes the tension and collaboration between the figures and the malleable, angular plane they manipulate. Made to order from soft micro-twill and cut by hand, insert included. Real art for the spaces you actually use, not store-shelf filler.

About The Artist

Richard Vergez is a Cuban-American visual and sound artist. He was born in Philadelphia, PA, worked and lived in New York as member of the Brooklyn Collage Collective, and currently works and resides in South Florida. His background in graphic design and audio/visual collaboration is reflected through his hand-made collaged works on paper and mixed media. Imagery which combines both human and technological elements relates to ideas surrounding an ever-evolving modern dystopian identity.
