A traditional East Caucasian rug displays intricate geometric and floral patterns arranged in horizontal bands across a richly colored ground of deep blue, red, and cream. Star-shaped medallions and ornamental borders in warm golds and whites create a rhythmic, symmetrical composition that reflects centuries of textile craftsmanship from the Shirvan Kuba region. Crafted from bamboo and made to order, with a drilled hole so it hangs on the wall as easily as it works on the counter. A kitchen essential carrying an independent artist's work, not a blank block from the big-box aisle.
