Description
Three women in religious habit and headscarves share a candid moment, each smoking cigarettes with expressions of quiet complicity and ease. Shot in crisp black and white, the composition draws close to capture the intimacy of their exchange, the contrast between their somber dress and the casual human gesture creating a striking tension. At home in a gallery wall, a study, or anywhere bold contrasts spark conversation. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily. The natural grain shows through the artwork, so no two come out exactly alike.
