Two organic leaf forms in soft pink and bright coral red interlock and radiate outward in a composition of pure, undulating curves that evoke marine flora or abstract botanical shapes. Bold sans-serif capitals frame the composition with "MATISSE" at the top and gallery information below, rendered in the restrained elegance of a 1953 exhibition poster for Berggruen & Cie. Precision-cut from thick, satin-finish paperboard and made to order, in 500 or 1,000 pieces. An afternoon spent building an independent artist's work.
