Two organic leaf forms in soft pink and bright coral red interlock and radiate outward in a composition of pure, undulating curves that evoke marine flora or abstract botanical shapes. Bold sans-serif capitals frame the composition with "MATISSE" at the top and gallery information below, rendered in the restrained elegance of a 1953 exhibition poster for Berggruen & Cie. Bound with 52 pages of 70lb paper, lined or unlined, behind an anti-scuff matte cover with wraparound artwork, made to order. Notes and sketches kept behind an independent artist's work, not a plain composition cover.
