Description

Two organic leaf forms in soft pink and bright coral red interlock and radiate outward in a composition of pure, undulating curves that evoke marine flora or abstract botanical shapes. Bold sans-serif capitals frame the composition with "MATISSE" at the top and gallery information below, rendered in the restrained elegance of a 1953 exhibition poster for Berggruen & Cie. For a modern living room or gallery wall celebrating modernist masters. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily. The natural grain shows through the artwork, so no two come out exactly alike.
