Golden pheasants and strawberry plants interweave across a deep navy ground in this densely patterned composition, their forms repeated in symmetry to create a rhythmic, almost wallpaper-like effect. Rich jewel tones of emerald, rust, cream, and rose enliven the intricate botanical and figurative motifs, rendered with the decorative precision characteristic of Arts and Crafts movement ornamentation.
