A striped fish glides through a dense tangle of aquatic plants rendered in soft greens and grays, surrounded by a delicate red flower at the composition's base. The piece employs a classical engraving style with hand-colored details, contained within a warm red and gold decorative border that evokes centuries-old natural history illustration.
