Description
A golden-bordered manuscript illustration depicts a legendary gathering of fantastical creatures and courtiers assembled before two enthroned figures in a palace setting, rendered in the ornate Persian miniature tradition with jewel-toned reds, blues, and greens against a luminous yellow ground. The composition layers multiple narrative moments across registers, with ornamental patterns of scrolling vines and geometric artworks filling every surface, creating a sense of opulent abundance and courtly ceremony. At home in a study, library, or any space celebrating Islamic art and literature. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily. The natural grain shows through the artwork, so no two come out exactly alike.
