Description
Two hands reach toward each other across a warm beige ground in this iconic reinterpretation of Michelangelo's Renaissance masterpiece, rendered in soft, naturalistic tones. A small rectangular text box reading "PLEASE DO NOT TOUCH" hovers between the fingertips, introducing ironic commentary into the scene of near-contact and divine connection. For a gallery wall, bedroom, or any space celebrating art history and conceptual humor. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily. The natural grain shows through the artwork, so no two come out exactly alike.
