Dense columns of small text form the silhouette of two human profiles facing each other across a white void, their negative space creating an intimate dialogue between reader and reader. The monochromatic composition uses the novel's actual printed pages as both material and meaning, transforming literature into portraiture through the physical substance of words themselves. Precision-cut from thick, satin-finish paperboard and made to order, in 500 or 1,000 pieces. An afternoon spent building an independent artist's work.
