Three stacked horizontal bands of color compose this minimalist geometric work, with a teal rectangle occupying the upper half, a thin orange stripe dividing the middle, and a soft pink rectangle filling the lower portion. The painterly texture and slightly irregular edges of each color field create a sense of handmade warmth within the strict formal arrangement. Precision-cut from thick, satin-finish paperboard and made to order, in 500 or 1,000 pieces. An afternoon spent building an independent artist's work.
