A waveform visualization merges nature and sound, with silhouettes of evergreen trees and flying birds rendered in shades of blue and gray against a black background, bisected horizontally by a rippling audio wave. The composition transforms acoustic data into a landscape, collapsing the boundary between what we hear and what we see in a meditative study of natural rhythms. Precision-cut from thick, satin-finish paperboard and made to order, in 500 or 1,000 pieces. An afternoon spent building an independent artist's work.
