Description

Botanical stems and flowering plants in shades of golden yellow, orange, sage green, and teal rise densely across a dark navy ground, creating a lush, layered composition that suggests an overgrown garden glimpsed in low light. The delicate linework and varied leaf forms convey a naturalistic botanical study filtered through a modern, decorative sensibility. At home in a bedroom, study, or any space seeking calm botanical richness. A vegan leather seat with the artwork printed across it, made to order on steel legs in gold or black. Everyday seating that carries an independent artist's work rather than store-shelf furniture.

About The Artist

Hi, I'm Cecilia, a Sydney-based surface designer and artist with a background in fine arts. My work is inspired by the Golden Age of Illustration, ancient Chinese and Japanese textiles and historical European Chinoiserie, Mid-Century Modern, and contemporary Australian symbolic painters. I am drawn to themes of wonder, storytelling and the beauty of the natural world. I love to explore rich colour palettes, a sense of movement and flow, and decorative illustration. I'm available for licensing enquiries. @ceciliamok_ www.ceciliamokart.com
