Description
A repeating pattern of delicate blue line-drawn vignettes depicting pastoral landscapes, castles, gardens, and countryside scenes fills the composition against a soft cream ground. The traditional toile de Jouy aesthetic captures an 18th-century romantic sensibility through intricate pen-and-ink style illustrations arranged in a symmetrical, all-over repeat. At home in a nursery, child's bedroom, or classically styled living space. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily. The natural grain shows through the artwork, so no two come out exactly alike.
