The Leaning Tower of Pisa dominates the right side of this geometric composition, rendered in soft cream and tan tones with its characteristic tilt intact. An ochre sun hangs in the pale sky above terra-cotta roofed buildings and a green-domed cathedral, while warm earth tones and pops of orange anchor the foreground in a scene that balances architectural precision with simplified, almost modernist forms. Precision-cut from thick, satin-finish paperboard and made to order, in 500 or 1,000 pieces. An afternoon spent building an independent artist's work.
