Two woven rattan chairs sit side by side against a soft pink wall, one topped with a patterned cushion and the other cradling a napping ginger cat nestled in greenery. Above them, a hanging planter overflows with trailing vines and leafy plants, while a decorative blue and white patterned rug anchors the floor below, all rendered in loose watercolor strokes and pen linework. Made to order from soft micro-twill and cut by hand, insert included. Real art for the spaces you actually use, not store-shelf filler.

Lara Meintjes is a South African illustrator, happily living in Oakland, California while she is working towards a PhD at UC Berkeley. She is particularly interested in color and is delighted by the millions of sneaky tigers she has included in her paintings over the years. She can usually be found drinking tea and occasionally, completely accidentally, paint water. She wishes she smoked a pipe.
