Description
A squat, round-bellied frog rendered in bold black silhouette sits centered against a pale ground, its wide-set eyes staring forward with an expression of deadpan indifference. A small red seal mark hovers above its head, nodding to the Japanese woodblock tradition while the minimalist line work and stark tonal contrast create a wry, almost sardonic mood. In a gallery-minded space or a room that values dry humor and clean design. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily. The natural grain shows through the artwork, so no two come out exactly alike.
