Concrete sculptures resembling jagged ship hulls and angular sails rise from the sand at the ocean's edge, their weathered gray surfaces catching sharp shadows against the pale beach. The composition anchors a vast seascape of soft blue sky and churning waves, creating a solemn geometric counterpoint to the organic landscape. Hello, I am Christa Stroo. As a caregiver I know all to well how life can pass you by and before you know it another year has passed. And so I aim to photograph and be aware of my surroundings.
