Description
Five ceramic vessels in varying heights and shapes cluster together against a warm rust-red ground, their forms rendered entirely in crisp white linear marks that follow the contours of each bottle and vase. The composition uses rhythmic horizontal striations throughout the background and foreground, creating a woodcut-like texture that emphasizes the handcrafted quality of both the pottery subjects and the artwork itself. At home in a kitchen, studio, or collector's space celebrating functional ceramics. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily. The natural grain shows through the artwork, so no two come out exactly alike.
